It has now become a business destination due to the large foreign direct investment (FDI) in India as POSCO is setting up a plant along with its own port for transportation.

Among the non-Brazilian clubs which have disputed the competition, are América, Toluca and UNAM Pumas of Mexico, Pohang Iron and Steel Company (Posco) of South Korea and Shanghai Shenhua of China.
Since early 2011 he owns and runs a football recreation facility called Posco Arena (after his Korean team) in Belgrade's neighbourhood of Careva Ćuprija.
The remaining 30% stake is held by a consortia comprising POSCO 12.5%, Marubeni 12.5%, STX Corporation 2.5% and China Steel Corporation 2.5 %.
The significance of the program can also be seen from the wide range of students who, as it was already in the first years, came from the leading companies including Cheil Communications, Amore Pacific, Woori Bank, POSCO, SK, Kyobo, Everland, Bosch, KTF and several Samsung subsidiaries.
