Besides his ballet recordings, Fistoulari served as recording accompanist to many legendary singers including Jan Peerce, Inge Borkh, Victoria de los Ángeles, and Boris Christoff, pianists like Edwin Fischer, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Clifford Curzon, Wilhelm Kempff, Earl Wild and Shura Cherkassky as well as violinists like Yehudi Menuhin and Nathan Milstein.
She has enjoyed partnering many eminent musicians in concerts at musical centres around the world, most notably Nathan Milstein, Alan Civil, Peter-Lukas Graf, Jacques Zoon, Michel Debost, Robert Winn, Antontio Janigro and in numerous chamber music groups including the Nash Ensemble.
Since 1932, the Conservatoire has regularly hosted concerts by prestigious musicians from across the globe, among them Vladimir Horowitz, Nathan Milstein, Gregor Piatigorsky, and Alexander Borovsky.
He then received lessons and encouragement from Leopold Auer (teacher of Mischa Elman, Efrem Zimbalist, Nathan Milstein and others) in Dresden, and made a concert debut in 1912 as solo violinist.

He specialized in accompanying singers, having worked with such renowned singers as Anneliese Rothenberger, Peter Schreier, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Brigitte Fassbaender, Hermann Prey, Margaret Price ans Thomas Quasthoff, and also with such instrumentalists as violinist Nathan Milstein and cellist Heinrich Schiff.
