The offense peaked in 2003, scoring a school-best 602 points en route to a 13-1 season: QB Ryan Dinwiddie threw for 4,356 yards and 31 TD, RB David Mikell ran for 1,142 yards and 13 TD, and WR Tim Gilligan had 1,192 yards and 6 TD.
Now retired from acting, Mikell has written two film scripts, numerous short stories and in 2002 published an essay of his 2001 trip to the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan.
On defense, Mikell replaced the injured Sean Considine as the starting strong safety in 2007 and remained in that role through 2010.
