The success of the single helped ensure more live opportunities for the Pimptones and promoters drafted the group in to support touring acts such as Maceo Parker, Candi Staton, Youngblood Brass Band and Hot 8 Brass Band.

Jazz stars like Miles Davis, Count Basie, Sun Ra, the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Pharoah Sanders, Archie Shepp, Yusef Lateef, Ornette Coleman, and Cecil Taylor have played the festival, as well as headliners like Ray Charles, Maceo Parker, Etta James, James Brown, Booker T. & the MG's, Taj Mahal, Dr. John, Bonnie Raitt, and Al Green.
Notable artists who have performed at the festival include Mark Morris Dance Group, Philip Glass, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Maceo Parker, Leela James, Norah Jones, Savion Glover, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Group, Blue Man Group, They Might Be Giants, The Neville Brothers, Bob Dylan, Noche Flamenca, Philadanco, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, and Angelique Kidjo.
She has continued her singing career and remains active across the country, not only as a member of the Grammy winning gospel group Sounds of Blackness and as a musician on many albums of other artists such as Maceo Parker, Prince, or producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, but also as the invisible voice behind many brand-name products in popular commercials of brands such as 3M, Volkswagen, Target or Ford.
At the same time as the album The Biggest Piano In Town was commercially released in the USA and Canada, Grand Pianoramax went on a 10-city tour in the US opening for Maceo Parker and then moved on to perform at several major festivals in Europe (most notably at a showcase night featuring the Andy Milne & Gregoire Maret duo, and Grand Pianoramax with Spleen & Bleubird at the 2008 Montreux Jazz Festival).
The album features an array of musical guests including Prince, Dallas Austin, Humpty Hump from Digital Underground, Ice Cube, N'Dea Davenport, Dr. Dre, and Herbie Hancock, as well P-Funk alumni including Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Maceo Parker, and Fred Wesley.
Special guests included former band associates, Rosie Gaines and Morris Day, funk legends Maceo Parker and members of The Family Stone such as bass player Larry Graham, as well as funk-rock performer, Lenny Kravitz.
The core of the band, called the X-Pensive Winos, consisted of Waddy Wachtel, Ivan Neville, Charley Drayton and Steve Jordan, with many guest artists taking part in the recording, including Sarah Dash, Bootsy Collins, Maceo Parker, the Memphis Horns and Patti Scialfa, and the only musician from the Stones to appear, guitarist Mick Taylor.
