Adcote School

The landscaped gardens surrounding the school feature a variety of trees including Beeches, Tulip trees, Oaks (American and evergreen), Atlas Cedars and Wellingtonia.

Eulecanium cerasorum

The Calico Scale is a pest to many trees in the United States, including dogwoods, honey locust, magnolias, maples, sweetgums and fruit trees.

Liriodendron

The tulip tree is sometimes referred to as "tulip poplar" or "yellow poplar", and the wood simply as "poplar", although Liriodendron is not closely related to the true poplars either.

Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert, Michigan

Of note is the presence of non-native, borderline hardiness trees, such as the Tulip Tree, which thrive in small section of Senneville near the Île aux Tourtes Bridge.
