Jake Yapp is a British comedian who first came to prominence in the mid-1990s on Martin Kelner's radio shows on BBC North and Jazz FM playing the character Dame Dora Dale.
At the beginning of 2003, Horne replaced Charles Nove on the drivetime show on London's Jazz FM, later moving to mid-mornings until mid-2005, From then on, he was heard on Capital Gold every Sunday afternoon fronting a Classic Album Show.
Since then, Day has been heard on many commercial stations throughout the UK including Manchester's Piccadilly Radio, Birmingham's BRMB, Radio West in Bristol, Invicta Radio/Invicta Supergold in Kent, Pirate FM in Cornwall, Jazz FM in London, County Sound in Surrey, Amber Radio in Suffolk and Fusion 107.3 in London.
100.4 Jazz FM broadcast its daytime shows from its Manchester station, but specialist shows such as Dinner Jazz and Legends of Jazz with Ramsey Lewis were networked from its London sister station 102.2 Jazz FM.
