2 unusual facts about Ford Galaxy


Ford Galaxy

On the British television series Outnumbered, The Brockman family (main family) now own a Ford Galaxy in the 2011 series, replacing the Vauxhall Zafira they had in the older series.

No longer produced at the AutoEuropa plant in Portugal, Europe's replacement Galaxy is assembled at a newly re-equipped plant alongside the Mondeo in Genk, Belgium.


Ford EUCD platform

2007– Ford Galaxy (code name CD340) large MPV (introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show)

The first EUCD cars were introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show: Volvo's S80 and Ford's S-MAX and Galaxy, which share about half of their total parts, for example, the steering columns on the Galaxy, S-Max and S80 share 80 percent of their parts.

The Ford Individual option packs have so far been revealed for the Ka, Fiesta, Kuga, Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy ranges to offer customers something extra – detail touches that supposedly create an air of luxury and craftsmanship.
